Total cost of ownership (TCO) model for tugs is offered. Estimates the total cost of the vessel over its complete life cycle.

Both operational costs (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) of the vessel are modeled.  The output of the model includes Financial Statements, Financial Ratio Analysis, a Discounted Cashflow Model (DCF), a Return on Investment (ROI) analysis. This product includes a dataset of different tugs for benchmarking purposes. These include conventional tugs, azimuth stern drive tugs, tractor tugs and hybrid tugs.

Incorporated drivers are fuel cost, crewing cost, new building value, residual value, financing structure, maintenance, depreciation, interest, insurance, management fees, harbor dues, spare parts, lubrication oils and more. TCO is calculated on various operating profiles in ports and offshore.
